American Saddlebred
The original foundation for the breed were naturally gaited. Today Saddlebreds are trained to gait with some being born with a natural gait. Comes in a wide range of colours. Pearl is not known, Dun, and Appaloosa pattern is thought not to be in the breed. Please note while many maker's Saddlebreds have the high set tail that in the real horse world would either be nicked (surgically cutting the nerves at the base of the tail, setting it high, and letting it heal in an erected position, similar to the cropping of dog's ears) or gingered (using a sustain to burn the underside of the tail, sometimes the tail is wrapped with the sustains on, so when the tail drops it causes pain - keep in mind some owners find the discomfort/pain of the horse funny), I try to keep it in mind that my horse's naturally carry their tails this way. I don't believe in altering or hurting a horse for so called 'beauty'. Also I do NOT like the use of pads for any propose [other then medical] nor any method or device used to make a horse step higher. When choosing a name the Saddlebred has a limited of 35 Characters this includes letters, spaces and punctuation. No Numerical prefixes or suffixes No numerals ("II", "3rd", etc.), No "Jr" or "Sir" as suffixes, No diacritical marks, No add prefixes or suffixes previously named horse, No conflicting names with other horse living or dead
