Suffolk Draught
AKA Suffolk "Punch" (clean legged) - The oldest draught native to Great Britain. The Suffolk was used as a farm horse. The breeders of the "Punch" didn't sale horses so the breed remained untouched by outside breeds 'til the rise of the farming machines, and the need for food during WWII. The Suffolk started being sold at alarming numbers, mainly to slaughter, at one time only 8 foals were born in a year. Today the "Punch" is trying to make a come back, but numbers are still very low. They are always some shade of chesnut (the correct way of spelling chestnut in the Suffolk), NO other color is tolerated. No white markings is preferred but a star or snip, and/or a max of low socks is acceptable. I'm not sure of naming rules, but farm prefixes seem common.
